Distributor Marketing Guidelines
Section 2: Using Hogan Visual Assets
Logo Guidelines
Distributors are not authorized to use the main Hogan corporate logo.
Hogan Authorized Distributor Logo
To help distinguish Hogan’s corporate brand from its distributor network, we require all distributors to use the Hogan Authorized Distributor logo in all marketing, websites, and event materials.
What is the Hogan Authorized Distributor Logo?
It’s a version of the Hogan logo that includes a label stating that your company is an authorized distributor, helping clarify your relationship to Hogan.
How to Use the Hogan Authorized Distributor logo
- The Authorized Distributor logo must always appear in digital and print materials, which are available on request from Hogan Marketing. All official cobranding will be completed by Hogan Marketing. Translated Authorized Distributor logos are available on request.

- Maintain space around the Authorized Distributor logo equal to or exceeding the dimension shown below.

Incorrect Distributor Logo Usage
The primary Hogan logo may not be used or otherwise appear in any form not specifically authorized by Hogan Marketing.

The primary Hogan logo or icon may not appear as part of or in conjunction with any distributor logo or branding.

The Hogan brand color(s) or other branded elements may not otherwise appear as part of any distributor logo or branding.

Do not modify or otherwise reconfigure any of the Authorized Distributor logo options as provided by Hogan Marketing.

Approval Required: All uses of the Authorized Distributor logo must be reviewed and approved by Hogan Marketing before publication or distribution.
Hogan Assessment Logos
Distributors may use Hogan assessment logos (e.g., HPI, HDS, MVPI) in distributor-created materials that are approved by Hogan Marketing before publication.

Maintain space around the Hogan assessment logo equal to or exceeding the dimension shown above.
Hogan Certified Logos
Official logos for Hogan’s certification courses are issued as badges through Credly.com, a digital credential platform. Credly badges confirm certifications that have already been earned. Digital badges act as mobile certificates on LinkedIn, Facebook, ZipRecruiter, or anywhere people want to share them online.

Email Signatures
Distributors may reflect their affiliation with Hogan in email signatures by using the following:
- The Hogan Authorized Distributor logo
- The Hogan Certification Credly badges (for individuals who have completed Hogan certification courses)
Important Restrictions:
- Do not use the main Hogan corporate logo in email signatures.
- Do not combine the Hogan logo — or the Authorized Distributor logo — with your company’s logo in a single image or design.
Visual Asset Guidelines
Hogan-Created Visual Assets
Distributors may request to use Hogan-created graphics or visual assets. Visual assets provided by Hogan must be used as delivered and not altered.
Examples of Hogan-created visuals that may be provided for distributor use:
- Hogan logos for sponsorship materials or promotional items
- Hogan assessment icons for otherwise distributor-branded marketing or certification materials
- Illustrations or diagrams of Hogan concepts or models to be used on a distributor website or presentation
All Hogan-provided graphics must be properly attributed on websites and used in full compliance when on social media graphics following the guidelines below.
Hogan Graphic Attribution Guidelines
- When using Hogan-provided graphics on websites and webpages, apply this attribution language: All images copyright Hogan Assessments. Used with permission.
- Graphics created and provided by Hogan can be used in distributor-designed social media graphics without attribution language so long as distributor is using the approved Authorized Distributor logo on the graphic to adhere to representation guidelines.
Distributor-Created Visual Assets
Distributor-created visual assets must remain clearly distinct from those produced by Hogan Marketing to maintain brand integrity for Hogan and the distributors. All layouts and marketing materials created by distributors should reflect the distributor’s established brand and remain clearly distinct from Hogan’s brand.
Requests for Hogan-created graphics should be made directly to Hogan Marketing, and all materials making use of those graphics must be reviewed and approved by Hogan Marketing prior to public distribution or release. These visuals are and remain the sole property of Hogan Assessments, and may not be used outside of the approved material(s) without further approval.

This non-compliant example demonstrates the improper use of Hogan colors, fonts, and main logo in an otherwise distributor-branded layout.

This non-compliant example shows unapproved use of Hogan colors and assessment icon formatting, as well as an outdated version of the "Authorised Distributor" lockup.

This compliant example shows a proper distributor-branded layout in conjunction with approved Hogan-created assessment icons and the correct "Authorised Distributor" lockup.
Hogan Color Palette
The colors associated with the Hogan assessments are intended to create meaning for the audience on the purpose of each assessment. Unless they appear within the context of an approved Hogan-created and properly attributed visual asset, the Hogan color palette may not otherwise be used within the distributor's corporate brand (e.g., the distributor’s logo, website layout, etc.).
